CharlieBravo1 Says:
Carmine Annunziata posing as a US Army Maj has gained access to
military bases in the NY/NJ area. Annunziata while he was listed an
actual fugitive was being assisted by members of the US Army in the
NY Recruiting Command in Queens, NY. Right under the noses of
numerous real US Army officers Annunziata was able to set up a fake
Army recruiting office in Jamaica Queens, NY and a phoney MCSS,
before Annunziata bugged-out to NJ. Those individuals in the US Army
who assisted Annunziata have NOT been held responsible for their
role and have not been courtmartialed despite the fact that they
assisted this wanted fugitive Annunziata with his horrific scams and
harassment of service members and civilians. All individuals
involved with this creep Annunziata should be brought to justice. |

Tips for Armed Forces MCSS
December 29, 2012
I ordered a fleece since I forgot my back at
homestation through these people, I had thought that this
was through AAFES since they have military clothing sales in
the BX/PX on base. Obliviously I am wrong as I have not
recieved anything in over 4 months now, have tried Multiple
times to email them no response, called them through DSN to
a disconnected phone number. After reading the reviews below
and researching I cannot believe these people are still in
business and have not been caught by law enforcement. How
infuriating that we are over here defending our country
during wartime and have this happen. Will never go through
them again and inform all my military co-workers to Stay
Away from these people. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING THROUGH THEM,
they are scammers.
September 01, 2012
Soldiers beware! I am an E9 in the Army and these
guys ripped me off! They are not an authorized MCSS. Stay
clear.

Do Not Order Anything From Them. My son made a
$222.54 dollar (5-23-2011) order with these people online
before leaving for Afgan he had to cancelled his order at
the last minute due to leaving earlier then what he had
expected for deployment. I called Ryan Miller several times
and left messages on Vmail but never a return phone call, I
spoke with Maria Garcia a few times but nothing never came
from it.
I called again and the number had been disconnected...so I
started emailing and of course never a return email either.
I filed a report with the BBB of NY and they couldn't get
any response from them as well, as of this date (3-17-2012)
there has been 19 complaints filed with the BBB of NY... All
I wanted them to do was refund the money that they basically
stole from my son and still have yet to refund it to this
day.
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE...I will be leaving reviews where ever
I can about your so called company.....any good reviews you
read are FAKE they have put it up themselves.....

I have never publicly called out a "business" however, I feel
compelled to pass this info along to provide SA for others. I am
the first to admit ... shame on me for not doing my homework. I
accept that it is my own dumb-azz fault for my troubles. Like I
always say ... " it is a wise man who learns from others
mistakes." I should have taken my own advice on this one.....

Terrible experience
You know, my heart is bleeding for the
persons who were ripped off by this man and
woman. This man was never a member of the
Arm Services.
All the years I knew this man, he has been
selling bagels...and I am going back as far
as 20yrs ago. He even use to have Capt
Garcia, walking with him selling bagels. She
was a nurse at the time, has been a nurse
for a number of years. She will get off from
work in the mornings and join him. He
started selling knock-off military uniforms
in the flea market in NY, then he went to
Gertz Mall in Jamaica Ave, then he moved
directly opposite into the old recruiting
center. It was sometime at Gertz mall that
Maria enlisted in the military as a nurse.
Her status is legit in respect to the
military, but Carmine was never a member of
the military. He use physically assault
Maria. When she first met him, she was with
her two young kids. He did not want them
around, so she sent them to live with
relatives, and shortly after she met him,
she got a beating, she went to work at all
black and blue.
What bothers me the most, is this man has
been taking pictures in military uniform
with the rank of Major, with legit military
officers.
If this man is really a fugitive, why wasn't
he arrested a long to before. this man is
like hiding in plain site. Now Capt Garcia
is dead (God rest her soul) and there are a
lot of speculations surrounding her death.
Her body was lying there for viewing and he
was enquiring from her co-workers from a
hospital about life insurance. And at the
viewing, he did not allow her children
relative or parents to be there..I hope that
if this animal is really wanted, that he
goes to jail for a long time.

Owner of troubled uniform store arrested
By

The operator of a private-sector business that
sold uniform items to service members has been
arrested in New Jersey on fugitive warrants from
Florida, federal officials said.
Carmine Annunziata, who operated Armed Forces
Military Clothing Sales Store (Armed Forces MCSS) in
Jamaica, N.Y., before moving his store to New Jersey
near Joint Base Dix-McGuire-Lakehurst, was arrested
at his home early on Jan. 18, said Inspector Robert
Kurtz, of the U.S. Marshals Service New York-New
Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force.
At the time of the arrest, officials seized two
Army uniforms belonging to Annunziata, Kurtz said.
“We’re in the information-gathering stage of looking
into whether he impersonated an Army major,” Kurtz
said, noting that law enforcement officials have
confirmed with the Army that Annunziata has never
been in the military. One picture of him in an Army
uniform shows an “Annunziata” name plate and MP arm
patch.......

Carmine
Annuziata lived in Daytona Beach Shores,
Florida in the middle
1990's. I was dating him
until I found out what a
creep and a scam artist he
was. I dumped him because he
was crazy. I found
pornographic videos of
she-males in his closet at
his apartment and told him I
didn't want to see him any
longer. I basically had to
go in hiding because he was
stalking me. After his car
was repossed, he had his
(so-called) stepfather rent
him a minivan and wouldn't
return it. He ran to NY with
the rental. He planned on
coming back to
the Orlando area to try to
make me go to NY with
him. The police were
contacted and they tapped my
phone, which gave them the
location of the
hotel he
was staying at and led to
his capture and arrest. He
was later released on parole
and fled.

ANNUNZIATA v. STATE
697 So.2d 997 (1997)
Carmine ANNUNZIATA, Appellant,
v.
STATE of Florida, Appellee.
No. 96-2634.
District Court of Appeal of Florida, Fifth District.
August 8, 1997.
James B. Gibson, Public Defender, and
Rebecca M. Becker, Assistant Public Defender, Daytona Beach, for
Appellant.
Robert A. Butterworth, Attorney General,
Tallahassee, and Roberta J. Tylke, Assistant Attorney General,
Daytona Beach, for Appellee.
GRIFFIN, Chief Judge.
Carmine Annunziata appeals his
sentences in three cases, arguing that in one case he should
not have been assessed four "legal status points" on his
sentencing score sheet solely because he had been released
on pretrial bond at the time he committed the offense. We
agree and reverse.
Annunziata was separately
charged in three cases with knowingly uttering or issuing a
worthless check, failure to redeliver a hired vehicle, and
dealing in stolen property. He pled no contest to the charge
in each case. Sentencing was accomplished via three separate
score sheets. His point total in the stolen property case
was 46, which provided a corresponding sentencing range of
13.3 to 22.7 months. The 46 points included four "legal
status points" which were assessed over objection because
Annunziata committed the offense while released on pre-trial
bond. He was sentenced to 15 months of imprisonment and five
years of probation for the stolen property offense, and five
years' probation on the remaining offenses. The probationary
periods were to be served together......

Annunziata

The real recruiting center and the place that the
Army recruiters moved to at 164-14 Jammaica Ave
Jamaica NY 11432 -- this location is a consolidated
apparently authorized Armed Forces Recruiting
Center.
They reportedly call their store
a "recruiting sub-station" and other names such as
"Logistical Support Center" and a "Center of Influence".
The store is located around the
corner from the Queens National Guard Armory also.
The business cards used by Annunziata and Garcia are
not authorized or official US Army approved business cards.

Carmine Annunziata has his picture posted on the 174th
Military Battalion military.com site:
http://unitpages.military.com/unitpages/unit.do?id=104738&home_page_id=104738
He stated
that he was with this unit from 1986-1987.
Also, the flash was worn
only on a maroon beret, not the standard Army black
beret.
Of course
this picture was NOT taken during 1986 to 1987 considering
we did not wear the ACUs or the Black Beret during that
timeframe.

blast online uniform retailer
Sometimes the online store that seems to have just
what you’re looking for isn’t what it seems.
Several otherwise savvy service members — among them
a major and a master sergeant — say they learned
that lesson recently after trying to purchase
uniform items from the private company Armed Forces
Military Clothing Sales Store of Jamaica, N.Y.
Many say the company simply does not respond to
complaints about late or undelivered orders.
Despite its official-sounding name, the company,
also known as Armed Forces MCSS, is not part of the
government....

Soldiers
Beware - Army Pre-Shaped Beret
|
Posted By:
TKnapp on 9/3/2008
Location:
NY |
|
Beware when you buy from
this store. I ordered a
pre-shaped beret from
this store. The beret
advertised pre shaped
and inspection ready.
When I received the
beret it was preshaped
with the fold to the
left. This would mean
you would have to
reshape the beret. I
contacted
customer service.
This person did
everything he could to
tell me I was wrong.
He eventually called me
back and stated they
would refund my money
and send me a new beret.
A month later I never
received anything. After
contacting customer
service several times. I
finally got in contact
with [snip]. He stated
he issued me a store
credit which I never
have received. I have 18
years in the Army and
have never dealt with
anything this bad when
it comes to customer
service. I will chalk up
the $27.51 as a loss.
Soldiers beware do not
buy from this store!!!!
I cannot imagine how
many other Soldiers have
been screwed by these
guys. This Company also
called me at work and
threatened me after I
wrote the
original review
online.

this site, didnt think much of it, so I placed my order.
Now, I hadnt used this credit card in months, but less
than 6 hours after I place my order, my cc company calls
me and says there are 3 pending charges on my acct, $700
something, $600 something, and $1,200 something from
some wierd items, cell phones, etc.
I do a search of this company, find out they engage in
shady business practices (yeah, should have checked
BEFORE i placed the order).
They try to say they are a authorized military sales
company, which they are not, and are not authorized to
sell any military items, and there is a bunch of
complaints about them in the BBB for other stuff.
I tried emailing them, calling them, etc, and got no
reply. After a week I got a email with a 2 day fed ex
tracking number. I got my package today, and inside is a
flyer (that looks like my 5 yo son made it at kinkos)
that shows some specials and another piece of paper
saying how they are happy to have me as a new customer
and upgraged my shipping to 2 day for free., and the
next 5 ordes will have free upgraded shipping.
I'm posting this as a heads up warning for anyone that
is thinking about doing business with them. I strongly
suspect they are the reason my card number was used. I
dont know what it is about Jamaica, NY, but this is the
3rd time ive been scammed by a business there. first
time I ordered a video camera $500 less than anyone else
was selling it. (price was $2,700.When I got the camera,
it had B-Stock stamped on the bottom of the camera. I
figured i learned my lesson from that, and never buy
from the cheapest place anymore. Second time I ordered a
projector from another company, had a bad HDMI port on
it (cant blame them for that but it seemed fishy to me,
as nobody else had the projector in stock and they had
it $400 less than the next cheapest store) Now this with
this company. I try to buy local, but all these items
were a mail order only deal. Is jamaica, NY the shady
capital of the us? Anyone else have problems from stores
in this city?

Is Carmine impersonating "Leslie Fields" as well? Is this yet
another AKA? The name of Leslie Fields was also used on
rambling and harassing letters sent to victims.
The REAL Leslie Fields says that he never spoke with Jowers

confirmed that he never wrote any letters on behalf of
anyone at AFMCSS and that any letters signed with his name

Fields also states that he is the accountant,

Queens quarterly, do the bookeeping and taxes and write
himself a check for his services.

AG HEADNOTE
Legal status
points - pre-trial bond
A defendant should not have been assessed four
“legal status points” on his sentencing score sheet
solely because he had been released on pretrial bond
at the time he committed the offense, the 5th DCA
held.
The trial court added four “legal status points” to
the defendant’s sentencing point total for dealing
in stolen property because he committed the offense
while released on pre-trial bond for a previous
offense. The DCA reversed, concluding that the
“court-imposed . . . community supervision” section
of Fla. R. Crim. P. 3.703(d)(16)(g) does not
encompass pre-trial bond status. The DCA noted that
release on pre-trial bond is not considered a legal
status and said the Legislature only intended to
cover post-conviction programs formerly referred to
as “release programs.” |

Roberta J. Tylke, Assistant

GRIFFIN, C.J.
Carmine
Annunziata appeals his sentences in three
cases, arguing that in one case he should
not have been assessed four "legal status
points" on his sentencing score sheet solely
because he had been released on pre-trial
bond at the time he committed the offense.
We agree and reverse.
Annunziata was
separately charged in three cases with
knowingly uttering or issuing a worthless
check, failure to redeliver a hired vehicle,
and dealing in stolen property. He pled no
contest to the charge in each case.
Sentencing was accomplished via three
separate score sheets. His point total in
the stolen property case was 46, which
provided a corresponding sentencing range of
13.3 to 22.7 months. The 46 points included
four "legal status points" which were
assessed over objection because Annunziata
committed the offense while released on
pre-trial bond. He was sentenced to 15
months of imprisonment and five years of
probation for the stolen property offense,
and five years’ probation on the remaining
offenses. The probationary periods were to
be served together.
Paralleling the
1995 amendments to subsection 921.0011(3),
Florida Statutes, Florida Rule of Criminal
Procedure 3.703 provides in pertinent part:
(16)
"Legal status points" are assessed
when an offender:
(a)
Escapes from incarceration;
(b)
Flees to avoid prosecution;
(c)
Fails to appear for a criminal
proceeding;
(d)
Violates any condition of a
supersedeas bond;
(e) Is
incarcerated;
(f) Is
under any form of a pretrial
intervention or diversion program;
or
(g) Is
under any form of court-imposed or
post-prison release community
supervision and commits an offense
that results in conviction. . . .
Fla. R. Crim. P.
3.703(d)(16) (1996). Annunziata argues that
none of these categories includes the
situation where an offense is committed
while the offender is awaiting trial on
bond. The state responds that the points
were properly added because pre-trial bond
amounts to "court-imposed . . . community
supervision" under 3.703(d)(16)(g).
Prior to the
1994 amendments to the sentencing
guidelines, legal status points were not
assessed against offenders merely because
they were released on bond when they
committed their offenses.
Browning v. State,
625 So. 2d 960, 961 (Fla. 5th DCA 1993);
Fox v.
State,
608 So. 2d 132, 132 (Fla. 3d DCA 1992);
Mosley v.
State,
543 So. 2d 340, 340 (Fla. 1st DCA 1989);
Jones v.
State,
520 So. 2d 672, 673 (Fla. 5th DCA 1988);
Mize v.
State,
495 So. 2d 845, 846 (Fla. 3d DCA 1986).
Generally, the definition of "legal status"
under construction in those cases read as
follows:
Offenders on parole, probation, or
community control; offenders in
custody serving a sentence;
escapees; fugitives who have fled to
avoid prosecution or who have failed
to appear for a criminal judicial
proceeding or who have violated
conditions of a supersedeas bond;
and offenders in pretrial
intervention or diversion programs.
Rule
3.701(d)(6), Fla. R. Crim. P. (1996).
The issue in
this case is whether the additional element,
"is under any form of court-imposed or
post-prison release community supervision,"
has expanded the rule to encompass pre-trial
bond status.
We conclude it
does not. To characterize release on the
condition of posting a bond as
"court-imposed community supervision" unduly
stretches these terms. The sentencing
guidelines are to be strictly construed in
favor of a defendant. § 775.021(1), Fla.
Stat.;
Flowers v. State,
586 So. 2d 1058 (Fla.1991);
Williams v. State,
680 So. 2d 532, 533-34 (Fla. 1st DCA 1996).
The change in
the rule appears to have been intended to
restore one of the rule’s purposes
identified by the supreme court in
State v. Young,
561 So. 2d 583, 584 (Fla. 1990)--to treat a
person more harshly than otherwise for
committing a crime while under penalty for a
prior crime. This can be seen by examining
the recent history of this area. Prior to
1994, offenders with a "legal status"
included those on parole, probation,
community control, escapees, and others, as
explained above. The 1994 amendments to the
sentencing guidelines split these categories
into separate point assessments for "legal
status violations" and "release program
violations." The former included:
(a) An
escape from incarceration.
(b)
Flight to avoid prosecution.
(c)
Failure to appear for a criminal
proceeding.
(d)
Violation of any condition of a
supersedeas bond.
§ 921.0011(3),
Fla. Stat. (Supp. 1994);
see also
Fla. R. Crim.
P. 3.702(d)(9). Release program violations
occurred when the offender violated a
condition of any of the following programs:
(a)
Parole.
(b)
Control release, including emergency
control release.
(c)
Probation.
(d)
Community control.
(e)
Pretrial intervention or diversion.
(f)
Provisional release supervision.
(g)
Conditional release supervision.
(h)
Supervised community release
supervision.
(i)
Conditional medical release
supervision.
§ 921.0011(6),
Fla. Stat. (Supp. 1994);
see also
Fla. R. Crim.
P. 3.702(d)(10). In 1995, the legislature
expanded the legal status category and no
longer referred to violations of conditions,
while the release program violation
assessment was removed from the sentencing
scheme. Added was a "community sanction"
assessment, which requires that sentencing
points be added when an offender violates a
condition of:
(a)
Probation.
(b)
Community control.
(c)
Pretrial intervention or diversion.
§ 921.0011(6),
Fla. Stat. (1995);
see also
Fla. R. Crim. P. 3.703(d)(17). Thus, the
current sentencing scheme imposes legal
status points if an offense was committed
while a person held any status listed in the
guidelines and community sanction points
when a person is sentenced for violating a
condition of one of the enumerated programs.
From all this, it appears that the inclusion
of "any form of court-imposed or post-prison
release community supervision" was
legislative shorthand for the multiple
post-conviction programs formerly referred
to as "release programs." None of these
changes indicates that the legislature ever
intended to change the result obtained in
the many cases where it was held that
release on pre-trial bond was not a legal
status. It was therefore incorrect for the
trial judge in this case to have assessed
Annunziata four points under this category.
Because it does
not appear beyond reasonable doubt that
different sentences would not have been
imposed had the correct score and range been
presented to the trial court, the lower
court should revisit Annunziata’s sentences
in all three cases.
REVERSED and
REMANDED.
HARRIS and
PETERSON, JJ., concur.

Interesting considering Carmine was born in 1955, which
means he graduated from High School in either 1973 or 1974
(that is, if he graduated from High School).
The other thing is that the US Army Military Police School
did not relocate to Fort Leonard Wood until 1999.
Fort Leonard Wood from 1992 to 1998 was the home of the US
Army Engineer School. Now, the Engineer School
is there as well as Chemical and basic training.
Is
Carmine is trying to create another Identity so the law

I bet if we got a hold of Holy Cross or St John’s Yearbooks

I cannot believe this! I use to date
this man in 1994! He was the manager of
"Athletic Clubs of America" here in Port
Richey, Florida. He had me convinced he
was the winner of the Mr. USA
bodybuilding contest sometime earlier.
What a liar! He took me to his home in
Ormond Beach to "pic something up" as he
put it. Well you can only imagine what
we picked up! It would have put me in
jail for years, but I had no clue until
we were back on the road and he refused
to let me out of the vehicle! Carmine
Annunziata is also known as Rick Carmen,
at least he says that was his
professional name while he was competing
in bodybuilding competitions! He was a
roid head. People around here thought he
was the cats meow. Look at him now! I
hope the cops find him. He has ties to
Ormond Beach as well as Port Richey,
Florida. He was scamming people here
years ago!

Altamonte Springs, FL |
I dated this man in the 90's in Orlando,
Fl. He claimed to be Mr. USA in 1988.
Met him at The Edge, a club in DT
Orlando. He was involved with a man he
claimed owned The Silver Beach Club
Motel in Daytona Beach Shores...said it
was his step-dad, but don't know if that
was the truth. I lived with him for
about a month in DBS, in an apt owned by
so-called step-dad, but step-dad got
upset I was there, and I moved out,
quickly and secretly after discovering a
stash of he-she videos and magazines in
the bedroom closet and realizing that he
was a thief, liar and coke-head. He
harassed me continually, and took off
for NY in a mini-van that was rented for
him by so-called step-dad. Police
contacted ME looking for him. They
tapped my telephone with my permission,
and he called from NY, begging for me to
take him back. I refused, but he claimed
he was coming back to Orlando for me,
anyways. The police tracked him back to
Orlando via phone-tap, and caught a
third party driving the stolen mini-van
in Orlando. When pulled over and
questioned about the van, the driver led
the police back to the motel in Orlando
where Carmine was staying and Carmine
was arrested. He also went by the name
"Lou" while he was partying in the
Orlando clubs. He also lied to me and
everyone I knew about his age, making
himself much younger. Hope they find
him.
|
|
Altamonte Springs, FL |
I add, this man harassed me continually
and his feelings and actions towards me
were on the verge of possessiveness,
which made me frightened and
uncomfortable. I actually had to
"escape" from him once, when I had plans
with girlfriends, and he showed up at my
parents house to try and tag along. I
explained I didn't want him there, but
he wouldn't leave. He ended up passing
out in an arm chair, so my brother told
me and my friend to leave, and he would
wait about 10 minutes to wake Carmine up
and tell him that we must have left
without him while he was dozed off and
my brother was in his bedroom. I still
have photos Carmine had given me of
himself, on a lawn in body-building
poses. I do not EVER wish to see this
man again. He would get furiously angry
over little things and go into fits of
rage. I believe he was bi-polar, having
serious mood swings that made me afraid
to be around him. All of this happened
in early 1995. I remember, specifically,
because he told everyone he was 37, and
I know there was supposed to be a 12
year difference between us. He also was
involved, at the time, in a
company/product called "Max Out", which
was an oil that body builders used to
oil up with before competitions. He had
a couple, both body builders, over to my
parents house for a meeting one day.
Can't remember their names, but at the
time, the guy was supposed to be the
largest, natural male body builder in
either the U.S. or the world (can't
remember). I believe he was Hawaiian,
and the female was also a body builder,
natural (no steroids, which was ironic,
because Carmine was far from natural)
and was the girlfriend of the man. The
business that revolved around the oil
was why his "step-dad" rented the van
for Carmine, because Carmine's car had
recently been repossessed from the from
of the Daytona Beach Shores apt while we
were inside sleeping.(It was a steel
blue Nissan 300zx? if I am recalling
correctly...it was a stick, I drove it,
just can't remember if the 300zx is
correct
.) He told me that years before I met
him, he did time in prison in NY for
armed robbery of a jewelry store in
which the owners/employees were tied up
while they robbed the store, and told me
that while he was in prison was where he
got involved in body building and
steroids. I don't know if this is the
truth, he told me this at a time where I
was trying to get away from him and it
may have been a story to try and
intimidate me (which, obviously, didn't
work) to keep me from leaving him).
Please, please find this man and put him
away , where he belongs. I came across
this by chance and it makes me nervous
to know this man is on the streets.
